In 2010, in connection with the release of the first RE-flower series, I wrote the following:

“The photographic RE-flower series is not about flowers. Rather, it is about flowering.
Very many things indicate that human beings blossom only once. Indeed, man is a perennial plant but do we all blossom? And how many of us are able to blossom several times?
As an artist I have had an unusual course. I broke down. Reality is made up of scars and age.
Behind RE-flower, behind the beautiful appearances of these materializations, you sense dancing lines:
Did I blossom?
And if I did, will I be able to do it again?”

Almost 15 years have passed since this formulation, and it has resulted in many series and two book publications under this title.
I am now entering “the third age”, gentler and with tools so I don’t destroy myself, but the above formulation is still present in almost everything I do. Therefore, the current series also carries the title RE-flower, and the works have the addition of “paint” in their titles. The series is, unlike many of my previous series, not based on photography, but on painting.
It is painting.
