Description (full description: Click this heading)

A leaf consists of leaf tissue and veins. The veins are the leaf’s “blood vessels,” which lead water and nutrients through the leaves. The veins also support the leaf itself. One could say that they are the skeleton of the leaf.
In this series, I have drawn and painted a new skeleton based on this one. The new skeleton is not identical to the skeleton of the leaf. It is my skeleton. It is the skeleton that supports me.
I have drawn and painted directly on the leaf. I have UV-printed the result directly onto a Dibond panel, subsequently I have painted again. This repainting is me right now.
I am “inventing” very little: With selected instances, motivated solely by desire, I follow my own tracks, my own paths.
